"Future education" is our Bitcoin

Codemy Revenue Model

(한국어 번역은 댓글에 올렸습니다.)

Model #1. Future education is valuable in and of itself

Codemy will cover all topics related to the traditional educational curriculum. Therefore, all types of educational content will be included in the Codemy platform. However, what makes Codemy unique is its vision to create an educational system suitable for the future.

This is called “future education.” Future education aims to equip learners with tools to face the FIRE (Fourth Industry Revolution Era). Future education is an investment that is being treated similarly to the early Bitcoin.

In Bitcoin’s formative years, a Florida man Laszlo Hanyecz paid for two pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoin. These days, one Bitcoin is worth about sixty thousand dollars. Counting by today’s value, the Florida man had paid about sixty million dollars worth of Bitcoin to buy two pizzas.

This explosion of value is evident even in the future of education. Though the actual value of “future education” is far from being realized, it has the power to be worth more than sixty thousand dollars moving forward because it prepares students to be adaptive to the future.

As a result, it will be powerful and revenue-generating. According to the Harvard Business Review, there are four ways to create Intangible Value, all of which will be our basis for generating revenue. First, we make this intangible value because we build credibility, confidence, and conviction by keeping our promises. Second, we create intangible value since we envision the future. Third, we create intangible value by investing in core competencies to increase our probability of strategic success. Finally, we create intangible value since we are driven by:

1. attracting, motivating, and retaining competent and committed people

2. making significant changes happen fast, ensuring that customers and employees have positive images of and experiences with our organization.

3. the disciplines that result in high performance.

4. working across boundaries to ensure both efficiency and leverage.

5. generating and generalizing ideas with impact.

6. embedding leaders who carry our leadership brand throughout the organization who deliver the right results in the right way. [Source: https://hbr.org/2010/02/four-ways-to-create-intangible]
